Heritage Companionship was established after recognising a critical gap in Glasgow’s care landscape — thousands of people were being discharged from hospital with no structured non-medical support at home. We set out to change that.
Our first year saw us supporting families across the West End and South Side of Glasgow. Every care plan was built from scratch, tailored to the individual — a principle we maintain to this day.
Growing demand led to a carefully managed expansion of our support worker team. Every new member undergoes full PVG disclosure, induction training, and a supervised introductory period before working independently.
Today Heritage Companionship supports over 200 families across Greater Glasgow. We remain proudly independent, locally operated, and committed to the personal touch that defines everything we do.

Over 9 years in health and social care. Uzochukwu maintains high standards of care delivery and staff support — known for his leadership, professionalism, and compassionate approach to promoting independence and safeguarding wellbeing.
